Explosives Detection Dog Team (m/f/d)

Location: Germany-wide · LBA certification required

As a certified explosive detection dog team, you and your four-legged partner make a crucial contribution to security at German airports and critical infrastructures. We are looking for dedicated handlers (m/f/d) with their own explosive detection dog for demanding, nationwide assignments.

Your tasks

Preventive screening and inspection of air cargo and mail in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Aviation Office (LBA)
Professional collaboration with on-site security personnel
Independent health maintenance, care, and continuous training of your service dog
Assignments in corporate security on demand (general meetings, events, special operations)

Your Profile

Certification: Valid certification by the Federal Aviation Office (LBA) as an explosives detection dog team
Qualifications Minimum valid LBA permit as cargo and mail security screening personnel
Expertise Successfully passed the expert knowledge examination according to § 34a GewO
Mobility Driver's license class B and willingness for nationwide deployments
Personality: High resilience, teamwork, and independent, reliable work methods
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours
K9 Partnership Passion for working with dogs and the possibility of keeping the service dog at home
