Explosive Ordnance Disposal Specialist (Bundeswehr)
Numerous deployments in international war and crisis zones. Daily work with explosives and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) under real extreme conditions. Sharpened understanding of threat scenarios and operational planning.
Disarmer (State Police Authority)
Transfer of military experience to the civilian context. Deepening understanding of governmental structures, procedures, and the specific requirements of public safety in Germany.
Consultant & Trainer (UN Mandates)
Specialized consultant and mentor for security forces in high-risk countries. Training of military and police forces in EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), C-IED, and counter-terrorism operations.
Founding MK9S & Teaching Activities
Bundling decades of experience in training premium K9 teams. In parallel: teaching at a university of applied sciences for police on the topic of IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) and completing training as a PFSO (Port Facility Security Officer).
Our K9 teams: passion and precision
Service dogs are our passion. We rely on the outstanding abilities of breeds such as the German Shepherd and the Malinois, which are known for their intelligence, resilience and willingness to work. At the same time, we are convinced that suitability is not tied to one breed and we also integrate other dogs into our teams if they are suitably qualified.
Our dog handlers are at the heart of our operational strength. They are experienced and highly motivated experts who are in a process of continuous training and development in order to stay one step ahead of constantly changing threat situations. They benefit from practical briefings and training based on real operational experience from EOD and C-IED operations.
Flexible and nationwide deployment
Our area of operation knows no boundaries. We work for our clients throughout Germany and, if required, internationally. Thanks to a close-knit network of partners that has grown over the years, we are also able to flexibly and reliably cover major events lasting several days with the required number of highly qualified dog teams.

MK9S is the specialized K9 unit of MTSC-Global. While MTSC-Global offers a comprehensive range of security services, we have deliberately focused on the supreme discipline of explosive detection dogs. This strategic specialization allows us to invest all of our energy and expertise into perfecting our K9 teams. At the same time, our clients benefit from the stability and network of an established security organization.
What does the „K9" in our name actually mean?
The term K9 is much more than an abbreviation - it is an international seal of quality for professional service dogs. The origin lies in English: The word for canine, „canine", is pronounced exactly like the combination of the letter K and the number 9 (nine).
This designation was officially introduced for specialized dog squadrons as early as 1942. Today, K9 stands worldwide for the highest precision, reliability and sound training in detection. At MK9S, we continue this tradition and combine it with the most modern standards of specialized dog work.
